On Sunday I said I wanted to go and see the heather on the hills as it is looking so lovely at the moment. What I didnt expect was that we would end up walking half way up Cairnsmore of Fleet. Didnt make it to the top,as late in the day and the cloud was closing in. We did make it to the end of the forest where the path opens out onto the heather hills. Tried to capture it, but not done it justice, it was beautiful!
