A Sketch a Day- Day 70 Mothers Day
I was going to sketch my Mum but couldnt do it and knew I wouldnt be
happy unless it looked just like her. Instead I painted the small Wade
Irish Porcelain vase I bought her for Mothers Day 22 years ago on Ludlow
Antiques Market in Shropshire, as she collected it. I wrapped it but
never got the chance to give it to her as she died shortly before
Mothers Day on 12th March 1993 aged 62.
